1997 San Diego Chargers - Joe Pascale

Joe Pascale was a longtime NFL assistant coach who served as the defensive coordinator for the New York Giants, the Dallas Cowboys, the San Diego Chargers, and the New York Jets. He was known for his aggressive style of defense and his ability to get the most out of his players.

Pascale was born in New York City in 1946. He played college football at Fordham University, where he was a two-year starter. After college, he began his coaching career as an assistant at Fordham.
