Ball State Cardinals Defense (1985)
The defensive coordinator for the 1985 Ball State Cardinals football team was Paul Hamilton.
Hamilton was in his first season with the Cardinals. He had previously served as the defensive coordinator at Eastern Illinois University.
Hamilton's defense at Ball State was not very good. The Cardinals allowed 283 points in 1985, which was ranked 77th in the country. However, the defense did show some signs of improvement.
