Mike Holmgren was the head coach of the 1997 Green Bay Packers football team. The Packers finished the season with a record of 13-3, and they went on to win Super Bowl XXXII, defeating the Denver Broncos 31-24.
Holmgren was in his sixth season as head coach of the Packers in 1997. He had led the Packers to the playoffs in each of his first five seasons, but they had not been able to advance past the NFC Championship Game.
The 1997 Green Bay Packers football team was one of the most dominant teams in NFL history. They finished the regular season with a record of 13-3, and they went on to win Super Bowl XXXII, defeating the Denver Broncos 31-24.
The Packers were led by quarterback Brett Favre, who was one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL at the time. Favre threw for over 3,800 yards and 39 touchdowns in 1997. He was also named the NFL's Most Valuable Player.
The Packers also had a strong running game led by Dorsey Levens. Levens rushed for over 1,400 yards and 12 touchdowns in 1997.
