Miami Hurricanes 4-3 Defense (1996) - Bill Miller
The 1996 Miami Hurricanes football team was one of the greatest teams in college football history. The team finished the regular season with a 11-0 record, and they defeated the Virginia Cavaliers in the Carquest Bowl to finish the season with a perfect 12-0 record. The Hurricanes were the consensus national champions in 1996.
Bill Miller was a wide receiver for the 1996 Miami Hurricanes football team. He was a senior that season, and he was one of the best wide receivers in the country.
Miller was 6'4" and 210 pounds, and he had excellent speed and hands. He was also a very good route runner. Miller was a threat to score from anywhere on the field, and he was also a very good blocker.
Miller was a key part of the 1996 Miami Hurricanes offense. He led the team in receptions (62), receiving yards (1,102), and receiving touchdowns (14). Miller also helped the Hurricanes win the national championship in 1996.
