James Madison Dukes Offense (1990's)

The 1990 James Madison Dukes football team was an American football team that represented James Madison University during the 1990 NCAA Division I-AA football season as an independent. In their sixth year under head coach Joe Purzycki, the team compiled a 5–6 record.

The Dukes were led by quarterback Eric Williams, who threw for 1,562 yards and 10 touchdowns. Running back James Weatherspoon rushed for 576 yards and 5 touchdowns. Wide receiver Dwayne Hayes caught 45 passes for 662 yards and 5 touchdowns.

Chuck Hartman was the offense coordinator for the 1990 James Madison Dukes football team. He was in his first season with the Dukes, and he also served as the quarterbacks coach.
