Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds Offense (1995)
The 1995 Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds football team was an American football team that represented Eastern New Mexico University as a member of the Lone Star Conference (LSC) during the 1995 NCAA Division II football season. In their third season under head coach Mark Ribaudo, the Greyhounds compiled a record of 2–9 overall and 2–7 in conference play, finishing in a tie for ninth place in the LSC.
The offensive coordinator for the 1995 Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds was Mike White. He was in his first season as the offensive coordinator, after serving as the team's quarterbacks coach in 1994. Under White's tutelage, the Greyhounds' offense improved significantly, ranking 11th in the Lone Star Conference in total offense (376.4 yards per game) and 8th in scoring offense (28.3 points per game), both of which were improvements from the previous season.
The 1995 Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds football team used a spread offense. The spread offense is a type of pass-oriented offense that emphasizes quick throws, short passes, and big plays. The spread offense is designed to spread the defense out and create mismatches in favor of the offense.
