Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Offense (1998)
Ralph Friedgen was the offensive coordinator for the 1998 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets football team. Friedgen was a very good offensive coordinator, and he was able to get the most out of his players. The Yellow Jackets' offense was based on the pro-style offense, which is a balanced offense that emphasizes both running the ball and passing the ball.
The Yellow Jackets' offense was led by quarterback Joe Hamilton. Hamilton was one of the best quarterbacks in the country, and he was able to throw for over 5,000 yards and 49 touchdowns in 1998. The Yellow Jackets also had a strong running game led by running back Tashard Choice. Choice rushed for over 1,000 yards in 1998.
The 1998 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets football team was one of the most successful teams in school history. They finished the season with a record of 10-2 and won the ACC Co-Championship with the Florida State Seminoles. The Yellow Jackets were ranked 9th in the final AP poll.
The Yellow Jackets' offense was very successful in 1998. They averaged over 35 points per game, which was one of the best marks in the country. The Yellow Jackets also ranked in the top 10 in the country in passing yards per game and total yards per game.
