Al Borges is an American football coach who has served as an offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for several college football teams, including Auburn University, Cal, and Michigan. He is known for his quarterback development skills and his innovative offensive schemes.

Borges began his coaching career as a high school coach in California. He then moved on to the college ranks, where he served as an assistant coach at several different schools, including California State University, Chico, Diablo Valley College, and the University of Washington.

In 1997, Borges was hired as the offensive coordinator at Auburn University. He helped to lead the Tigers to a 13-0 record and a national championship in 2004.

The 2005 Auburn Tigers football team was a team that was led by a strong defense and a balanced offense. The team finished the season with a record of 9–3 and they were invited to the Capital One Bowl, where they defeated the Wisconsin Badgers, 13–7.
