Bob Reade was the coach for the 1991 Augustana Vikings football team. He was the head coach at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois from 1979 to 1994, compiling a record of 146–23–1.
Reade was known for his innovative offensive schemes and his ability to develop quarterbacks. He helped to lead the Vikings to several conference championships and NCAA playoff appearances during his time at Augustana.
The 1991 Augustana Vikings football team was a very successful team. They finished the season with a record of 11–2 and advanced to the NCAA Division III semifinals. They were led by quarterback John Jansen, who was named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Player of the Year.
