The Wing-T offense is a run-oriented football offense that was developed in the 1940s. It is characterized by its use of three running backs lined up behind the quarterback, with two of the running backs positioned behind the quarterback's hips and the third running back positioned behind the quarterback's heels. The Wing-T offense is designed to create mismatches between the offense and the defense, and it can be very effective against defenses that are not prepared for it.
