Kentucky Wildcats Offense (2003) - Ron Hudson

Ron Hudson was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the 2003 Kentucky Wildcats football team. He was in his first season with the Wildcats, and he resigned after the season due to the team's poor performance.

Hudson was a veteran coach with over 20 years of experience at the college and professional levels. He had previously served as the offensive coordinator at Kansas State University and at the University of Missouri.

The 1997 Kentucky Wildcats football team was a college football team that represented the University of Kentucky during the 1997 NCAA Division I-A football season. They participated as members of the Southeastern Conference in the Eastern Division.

The Wildcats' offense was led by quarterback Tim Couch, who threw for 4,275 yards and 34 touchdowns. Running back Derek Abney rushed for 822 yards and 12 touchdowns. Wide receiver Craig Yeast caught 81 passes for 1,448 yards and 14 touchdowns.

The Wildcats' defense was led by linebacker John Woodcock, who had 137 tackles and 10 sacks. Defensive back DeWayne Bates had 6 interceptions.

The Wildcats started the season with a 48-21 win over Kent State. They then won their next three games, defeating Western Kentucky, Louisville, and Vanderbilt. The Wildcats lost their next game to LSU, but they rebounded to win their next five games, defeating Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Mississippi State. The Wildcats won their regular season finale against Kentucky, and they were invited to the Outback Bowl, where they defeated Syracuse 27-14.
