Miami Dolphins Offense (1999) - Jimmy Johnson

The 1999 Miami Dolphins football team finished the season with a record of 9-7, including a 1-1 mark in the playoffs. The Dolphins were led by head coach Jimmy Johnson, who was in his fourth season with the team.

The Dolphins' offense ranked 13th in the NFL in scoring offense, averaging 20.4 points per game. The offense was led by quarterback Dan Marino, who threw for 3,499 yards and 21 touchdowns. Running back Lamar Smith rushed for 1,107 yards and 12 touchdowns. Wide receiver Oronde Gadsden caught 65 passes for 1,051 yards and seven touchdowns.

Jimmy Johnson was the head coach of the Miami Dolphins from 1996 to 1999. He was a two-time Super Bowl-winning head coach with the Dallas Cowboys, and he was hired by the Dolphins to bring the team back to prominence.

Johnson's tenure with the Dolphins was successful, but it was also tumultuous. He was known for his demanding coaching style and his willingness to bench star players. He also had a number of clashes with the Dolphins' front office.

Despite the challenges, Johnson was able to build a competitive team in Miami. The Dolphins reached the playoffs in two of Johnson's four seasons as head coach. However, they were unable to advance beyond the Divisional round of the playoffs.
