Miami Dolphins Pass Offense (1984) - Don Shula
The 1984 Miami Dolphins were one of the greatest teams in NFL history. They finished the regular season with a 14-2 record, which was the best record in the NFL that season. The Dolphins then defeated the Seattle Seahawks and the Pittsburgh Steelers in the playoffs to advance to Super Bowl XIX.
Don Shula was the head coach of the Miami Dolphins from 1970 to 1995. He is the winningest head coach in NFL history, with 347 career victories. He is also the only head coach to lead a team to an undefeated season, which he did with the Dolphins in 1972.
Shula was in his 15th season as head coach of the Dolphins in 1984, and he was one of the most respected coaches in the NFL. He was known for his demanding coaching style and his ability to get the most out of his players.
