Michigan Wolverines Spring Offense (2002) - Terry Malone
Terry Malone was the offensive coordinator of the 2002 Michigan Wolverines football team. It was his first season as offensive coordinator at Michigan, and he helped the Wolverines to a 10-3 record, including a 6-2 mark in the Big Ten Conference. The Wolverines finished in a tie for second place in the Big Ten Conference, and they were ranked No. 11 in the final AP and USA Today/ESPN coaches' polls.
Malone was a former offensive line coach, tight ends coach, and offensive coordinator at Bowling Green State University. He was also the offensive line coach at Boston College.
Malone's offense at Michigan in 2002 was a balanced offense that was able to run the ball and pass the ball effectively. The Wolverines were led by quarterback John Navarre, who threw for 2,701 yards and 22 touchdowns during the season.
