Nebraska Cornhuskers I-Formation Option Offense (1983) - Tom Osborne

Tom Osborne was the head coach of the 1983 Nebraska Cornhuskers football team. The Cornhuskers finished the season with a 13-0 record and won the national championship, defeating the Miami Hurricanes 28-10 in the Orange Bowl.

The 1983 Cornhuskers were known for their high-powered offense, which averaged 43.7 points per game. The offense was led by quarterback Mike Rozier, who rushed for 2,105 yards and 28 touchdowns. Rozier won the Heisman Trophy in 1983. The Cornhuskers also had a number of other talented players on offense, including wide receiver Irving Fryar and tight end Todd Christensen.
